Also lassen wir uns viel Zeit!
Riding a recehorse (fast...) could be the best feeling in the (horsey) world - that is what I used to think for many years. And it is definitely an amazing feeling. For another few years I thought it would be best feeling in the world to ride a well ridden dressage horse, who offers powerful movements on slight hints (and asks for a treat afterwards.. in this case :-) ) Meanwhile I am pretty sure that I found it: a horse that is relaxed and happy and does what I ask him to do just on thought is the best feeling I could wish for.
My young horse is offering just that and he has fun (at least I think he does), loves new "jobs" and constantly offers new ideas, what we could do. Admittedly, I don't ask much of him, I strongly believe in tiny steps. And I am just a bit too heavy for him , while he is just in a growhth phase. So we take it slow.
I am very grateful for all of that, for a wonderful horse in a great stableyard from a good breeder.
Luke and I have been accomagnied the whole time by two strong and incredible influences. The one is Karin Harst, who works as an animal communicator and helps us every once in a while in an amazing way. The other two persons I am so grateful to are Mark Rashid and Crissi McDonald, who have been a tremendous source of knowledge and inspiration and learning with the combination of aikido and horsemanship and everything else I can learn from them.
So Luke and I say thank you or doumo arigatou gozaimashita.
